Founding engineer at Dokploy, the open-source alternative to Vercel, Netlify and Heroku (37k+ GitHub stars, 360+ contributors), where I own the open-source and community side of the product. Fifteen years across backend and platform engineering. Most recently three years in fintech at Every (YC S23), where I owned the treasury and investments surface, and before that CTO of a distributed health-tech product team. I do my best work early, close to the product and the people using it.

Dokploy is an open-source, self-hostable PaaS positioned as the alternative to Vercel, Netlify and Heroku. It has 37k+ GitHub stars, 2.9k forks and 360+ contributors.

Founding Engineer

  • First engineering hire, working directly with the founder; I own the open-source product and its community surface while the founder covers enterprise.
  • Shipped Docker Health, a monitoring surface for Docker and the host-level OS conditions that silently break deployments. It is now used daily by the community and gets called out by enterprise customers on calls.
  • Shipped Overview, a global dashboard that aggregates services, backups and deployments across every project, replacing per-project drill-down.
  • Provide direct technical support to Dokploy's largest accounts; that support has converted 2–3 new paying customers since I joined.
  • Handle triage, review and release across a 360+ contributor community on a TypeScript, Docker Swarm and Traefik stack.

Every, Inc.

Every (YC S23, ~$32M raised from Y Combinator, Redpoint and Base10) is the all-in-one back office for startups: incorporation, banking, payroll and bookkeeping, used by 1,000+ companies.

Senior Software Engineer

  • Took Every's treasury and investments product from a thin first version to a surface I owned end to end: positions, trades, transfers and reporting on top of a third-party brokerage API, backing US Treasury Bill investing through an Every Securities account at BNY Pershing.
  • Became the de facto technical owner of treasury: every ticket, design question and escalation in the area routed through me without any formal handoff.
  • Trusted to execute multi-million-dollar customer transfers directly against the brokerage API for flows the product did not yet expose, while the self-serve path was being built.
  • Owned the banking and brokerage integrations behind the product (Plaid for account data, Unit for banking, a third-party brokerage for investments), moving millions of dollars in customer funds, including Every's own venture round, which was held in the accounts those integrations managed.
  • Built 20+ Retool internal tools used daily across engineering, operations, finance and accounting, enough that 'the Retool guy' became my internal title.
  • Built a dedicated version of the incorporation tooling used directly by the company's investors to review portfolio companies and their formation documents.

TashiPro was a corporate health and wellness platform: coaching, nutrition and fitness mentoring with health tracking and analytics, sold to US employers looking to lower their health-insurance costs.

  • Promoted to CTO after ~2.5 years and two prior leadership roles; reported directly to the CEO and owned engineering for the entire product.
  • Grew engineering from 8 to 15 people across the Dominican Republic, Spain, India and Pakistan, serving US-based clients.
  • Led the platform migration off 18 loosely-coupled Node repositories and CloudFormation onto a TypeScript Nx monorepo with Pulumi-managed infrastructure; V1 was running end to end within 8 months.
  • Diagnosed the release coupling behind recurring 5xx errors: every repo shipped its own UI and API, so deploys had to be hand-sequenced. The monorepo removed the ordering problem outright.
